Intensive English Course (F-1)

The Intensive English Program is comprised of six levels and develop your English skills through unforgettable, fun and exciting multiple exposures to English.

You will have various chances to train it, and an intensive reiterate of the essential vocabularies and sentences.

We improve your level to communicate naturally in English with a numerous people from around the world, with a wide range of native and non-native accents.

Placement Test

Upon arrival, you will take a Placement Test (written and oral) to assess your knowledge of the English language.
You will be placed into the class level based on the results of Your placement test.

Orientation Session

After taking the Placement Test, You will participate in an Orientation Session, in which you are given all student-related materials, including your course schedule. After this session, you are presented to the class, classmates, and teacher.

Goals

  • You are going to employ strategies developing long-term mastery of grammar necessary for basic communication.
  • You are going to develop communication structure and grammar with a focus on practical applications.

Objectives

Instruction will include formal grammar lessons using basic present and present progressive verb structure; to internalize, producing logical questions and short responses, plus a continued focus on the basic rules of nouns and adjectives.

Student Learning Outcomes 

In order to advance to intermediate level, students must demonstrate 70% proficiency in the following Student Learning Outcomes:

  1. You will identify and utilize the simple present, present progressive in affirmative and negative statements and questions.
  2. You will identify and utilize subject and object pronouns.
  3. You will identify and utilize to be constructions in the present time.
  4. You will identify and utilize possessive adjectives and demonstratives.
  5. You will identify and utilize the simple past, past progressive and future verb forms in affirmative and negative statements and questions.
  6. You will identify and utilize appropriate determiners.
  7. You will identify and utilize count and non-count nouns.
  8. You will identify and utilize modals to give advice, express possibilities, and describe present and past abilities.

Goals

  • You will develop existing knowledge of grammar rules while internalizing sentence structure.
  • You will continue improvement of the grammatical structure by developing form, meaning and usage.

Objectives

Instruction will include modeling correction of basic grammar errors in increasingly complex sentence structures as well as incorporate strategies to enhance sentences while maintaining a succinct American communication style.

In order to advance to an advanced level, students must demonstrate 70% proficiency in the following Student Learning Outcomes.

  1. You will identify and utilize quantifiers in questions and statements.
  2. You will identify and utilize comparatives and superlatives.
  3. You will identify and utilize prepositions of time and location.
  4. You will identify and utilize possessives in questions and statements.
  5. You will identify and utilize the present perfect in affirmative and negative statements and questions.
  6. You will identify and utilize prepositional phrases.
  7. You will identify, distinguish and utilize a variety of modifiers.
  8. You will identify and utilize modals to express necessity, lack of necessity, and prohibition.

Goals

You will increase proficiency in concepts introduced in Levels Intro, Beginner and Intermediate.

Objectives

Instruction will model attention to detail and bring attention to critical analysis of

English grammar and demonstrates the most complex examples of English grammar rules in a variety of examples to show the most formal grammar for academic and professional purposes and more obscure scenarios as they apply to common practice.

  2. You will identify and utilize appropriate coordination and subordination when writing and speaking.
  3. You will demonstrate an understanding of parallel structure in words, phrases and clauses.
  4. You will identify, distinguish and utilize modals and phrasal modals.
  5. You will identify, distinguish and utilize the present perfect, simple past and past perfect in questions and statements.
  6. You will identify, distinguish and utilize active and passive voices in the present, past and future.
  7. You will identify and utilize noun clauses.
  8. You will distinguish sentence types, clauses and phrases.
  9. You will identify, distinguish and utilize adjectives clauses and phrases.
  10. You will identify and utilize gerunds and infinitives as subjects and objects.
  11. You will identify, distinguish and utilize adverb clauses and phrases.
  12. You will identify, distinguish and utilize conditional sentences, both real and unreal.
